Unnecessary post reporting

What do you do (if anything) with members that incessantly report posts that they either don't agree with, or are posted by members they they really dislike? They're essentially abusing the system and I'd like to know what repercussions they would face for doing so.

 

I've got one person that is a friend in real life that does that occasionally for fun. Not a good thing, I'm hoping he will stop when he is bored.

Reported posts, we take action right away, if its unnecessary, infraction.

 

Hm, according to the thread title, this discussion is regarding "unnecessary post rerorting". Therefore, all discussion that has taken place thus far is not pertinent to the subject matter at hand.

Depending on the content theyre reporting we will act differently. If theyre reporting posts purely to get on our nerves reporting anything and everything we would warn them, if it continued an infraction and then infracted till automatically banned. If theyre using it too much for minor things we will speak with them via PM about it but no warning would be given. If someone was using it to contact us we wouldnt mind, it would be nice for us
