    Folks,

I'm getting closer to completing the plans on my newest forum. But, instead of buying up a new vB license, I figured that I'd use my license for GervaisBook.com (since I haven't developed it and there's not much going on there).

What is the process of changing the license information and everything else? Do I simply change the information (new domain info) on the vBulletin.com site after signing in? Then, the next step is to delete my "old" files from my server and I'm done?

Just wanted to make sure that I don't miss any steps since I haven't done it before :)

Yes that is correct you just remove the files from the old domain and changes it in the member area and then you good to go with the new site.

    Thanks John.

I figured as much, just wanted to make sure.

Now I have to find the right domain name...sheesh.

It is very simple doing this, an extra good thing about vbulletin.

    Yup, sure is PartyOn.

I remember that I originally bought the license from someone else and I had to change the domain name. But, just wanted to make sure that the process hadn't changed :)

Are you going to convert those posts to another forum software package? I would do that first.

I actually didn't have anyone join really other than some friends. The posts were simply news stories fed from his own site and then some referral link posts. So, I should be okay with losing those.
