Not me, my friend drinks it though, while we were at college last year[our schedule was from 12:30pm to 10:30pm] she used to buy one of those at 6pm since it was our free time [from 6pm-7:30pm].
They're rather unique energy drinks... many don't care for the taste, but I'm actually quite fond of it.
I think energy drinks don't affect me... I have sugar on a daily basis I have to drink 3-4 to actually get hyper. Now gimme Nutella and I can get hyper
The only energy drink I can take and not have weird stomach reactions is Bawls. Those things are pretty good, and work for me. Everything else, makes me feel like I need to be hospitalized.
I'm generally not a fan of energy drinks, but Doubleshot (in particular) tastes "smooth" to me. I can only drink one on a daily basis, however... don't want to overload.
First time I heard of this drink, a guy told me he'd "got bawls today". I was speechless (yes me). I didn't know he was talking about a drink (if you get my drift...... )
That is because a single serving of Nutella has twice as much sugar as a single energy drink. Though sugar isn't a good source of energy really. It gives a nice initial burst but nothing that can be sustained to be worthwhile. Too much of it actually tells your body to shut down. This is why people feel like napping after large meals. So people, when you're kids are not cooperating, give them lots of sugar. They'll be hyper for an hour but sleep the next three. Anyway, most energy drinks are bad for you. Very bad. They increase your heart rate and blood pressure while actually causing your blood to be thinner and deliver less oxygen over time. Nasty combinations of stuff.
Wow, I didn't know that. ;~; You're scaring me, Wayne. ;~; I have Monster downstairs, I guess I'll stick with getting hyper and crashing after.
Unfortunately, a good friend of mine needs to be made aware of these risks. He must consume 5+ Red Bull energy drinks on a daily basis. Not exactly safe.
