Maybe about 18 months ago I created a facebook account. But the interface seemed confusing. So I never did mess with it.

A couple of months ago my wife signed up on facebook and started playing around with it.

So this past weekend I decided to give it another try. I must say, I'am pretty impressed so far.

When I started to upload a video, there was a 100 meg and a 2 minute limit. But if you verified your account - facebook sent a code to my cellphone that I entered into my account, you can upload 1 gig videos and I think up to 20 minutes. And, URLs are converted into links in the video description.

Those options are right there next to youtube. With sites like Break, URLs in the video description are just text and not a hyperlink. And, facebook has a picture album where youtube does not.

Over the next couple of weeks I am going to spend some time building up my facebook account. I have already uploaded 3 videos and will probably upload some more tonight.

Actually, I've come to the conclusion that FaceBook drives me batty. I've delegated that to various members.

I also tried it over a year ago and found it clumsy and confusing. Maybe I should give it another shot

It took a while for me to register and I was on Bebo first. Now I far prefer Facebook. Blue scheme gets a little dull though.

I love the place, I have more than 1,200 "friends" of which I know about 300. And I've got about 6 groups with a total of more than about 3,000 'followers'.

Doesn't work well for business-use IMO, but hey-ho, I didn't sign up for that.

I think it's brilliant to find old family members, it's a spin-off that's free compared to the old chargeable 'friendsreunited' which didn't last long. And it's a totally less childish myspace in some sense. Though I do a bit of work for band members and myspace is the place to promote a band for sure. They love it on there.

We're getting a lot of twitter advertised on BBC radio and telly, and I think it's because that is ad-free, or as far as I can see. Don't know who pays their bills hey? lol

Not really got used to twitter though. Lots of famous people 'tweet' on there and it's good if your star struck or shag famous people like a lady-friend of mine who's managed to go some with a couple of famous people and two at one time apparently once. lol (Too much info there?! - that's what I thought when she told me).

Facebook is the way to go though, and for all those who love Google products, it's one of their bad-boys now.

I even made www.SAVS.co.uk just like facebook and am yet to finish it off and it's already getting young members, they just seem to be able to use it if they're the facebook type.

I'd watch out for twitter though. If there's money to be made on it, get used to the place now and get in there early.

I have an iPhone 3G S and it has a bunch of applications for myspace, youtube, twitter, facebook. And you can upload both pics and video's either as you take them or from your memory. Brilliant phone. MAC is the future!!!!!!!

Even if you don't plan to use Twitter, you should probably register your forum's name to make sure no one else does.

I would like to have a phone, or something where I could film videos and post them straight to sites like facebook. But from what I have heard, the service can get expensive.

I have been using facebook for close to 2, maybe 3 years now I guess.

When I first signed up, I really didn't care for it, stuck with myspace because it was where I was comfortable.

Now, I refuse to go back to myspace, it's just so spammy any more! Facebook is where it's at for me.

As far as mobile uploads, I have no problem with those. Then again, I've got a decent phone, not a relic built years ago ;) .

I didn't like FB when I first signed up a year or so ago, but I'm stuck on it now. I belong to several different "causes", promote the Kawfee Klub on it (it works!), and play a game called Farm Town.

    FARM TOWN!

    I love you Peggy!

FaceBook I think is not that bad, I like it more than Twitter.

I'm actually quite fond of Facebook (although I cannot stand the game invites that I receive on a daily basis). I used to be on their to stay in communication with friends, but now, I've simmered down a bit in terms of my activity on there - it can get "old" after a while.

I only use it to keep in touch with childhood friends, I really don't care about it.

When I first started Faceboob it was pretty cool but their new changes drives me nutz. Now I will say that is a cool deal on the video length/time.

I like facebook for dropping messages to friends and the games but I do believe it has also stopped a lot of people posting on my forum as they prefer virtual living with the games than plain old messaging. Be great if they had something like that for forums.

I only liked it before they added all this useless stuff to it. Back when it was for High School and College people only and you had to have an invite to get in it. Now its just like every other social networking sites.
