Hey everyone, I am looking for active members and staff on Let's Just Talk. Plus, we need an advertisement team to help us promote the forum! We are looking for one co-administrator and maybe a couple moderators. Please check out Let's Just Talk if interested!

Okay, so SMF isn't the best software out there, and I know a free host isn't the best way to go. But I can't afford paid hosting, I have crappy luck with Cpanel, which means crappy luck with installing mods... Need I say more? In short, SMF is easier for me to use over PHPBB anyday, and I've moved hosts too many times. I'm not moving again.

Maybe hostgator could be a cheap hosting solution for you with a namecheap.com 9.69 USD domain name.

I don't have any money at all. I can't afford hosting right now, period. And I have a real world job, so I am lucky to be able to have time to run a forum at all. I just can't afford anything right now. Besides, I've moved hosts so many times and I've lost so many members it's not even funny. I can't afford to lose anymore members. I may be on a free host for the rest of my life, but as of right now that's a choice I have to live with. I can't do Cpanel at all, either. I don't have the knowledge or the skills for that. Otherwise I would go back to 2 host U in a heartbeat (a free, advanced hosting site) and install SMF there.

I dont recommend free hosting for any forum. If you want success you will need to move forward otherwise you will never go anywhere it really is like that.

I must admit that you aren't bad at managing a Forum for a starter. Everyone has to start somwhere. I personally also started with a crappy free host however I quickly evolved to so I see potential.

The exact goal isn't very clear though. Where do you wish to talk about? What is the catagory of people you wish to attract to you're Forum? I wish to help you with it if you wish.

You should check out Dreamhost on the holiday specials they seem to have of late. 9.99 for 12 months and it usually includes a domain name.

If you need help just ask and I'll help.
