This is pretty cool, and I started looking into it for my forum. How do you like it? Does anybody else have it or use it? Let me know your thoughts on it.

    Thanks.

We talked about it a lot here: http://www.adminaddict.net/forum/suggestions-feedback/new-live-chat-facebook-style-1320/
I'm not aware of any other sites that use it (yet). Its price tag is fairly hefty.

I like it a lot. I think it makes a great addition to the site and can reduce the need for members to tediously use the PM or Visitor Messaging system. I'm not sure how many members here actually use it though.
It already only does show your friends. :)

As Nick mentioned, it's a feature here at AdminAddict... I like it and use it quite often. It's very convenient, and is better than using visitor messages and using the Private Message System. You can privately message those on your contact list while browsing and posting throughout the forums.

If you're looking into buying it, go for it! It's a very nice feature, and I'm sure your members will love it!

As chat systems for forums go, I really like this one. It doesn't take up much room on the page and keeps people on your forums instead of shunting them away to a separate section. Were I in the market for a system like this I would definitely go for it.

Can you send a msg to someone there even if they are offline and it appear to them when they come online? Or would PM still be best there?

And is it for vB only, or will it work for IPB, MyBB, etc.?

From what I have observed, it seems that you can indeed send messages to members who are offline, and it will appear when they sign in. I'm not 100% sure though.

It is mainly written for vBulletin but it can be integrated with other forum scripts if you have the coding ability.
