He has not been online here and he is not replying to email.

    It must be a sign.

Well you can buy licenses legally on vbulletin-germany.com and it's been like that for years. :)

The difference is that vBulletin-Germany is an official subsidiary of vBulletin. Not just a third party.

The company that sells and supports licenses in Germany is called Adduco and is a third party. They are not part of Jelsoft nor do they belong to Jelsoft. They simply operate as Jelsoft's partner in Germany.

I have looked at DCK's shop and it's quite simple:
They buy used licenses and sell them at a profit. I have not seen anything in the T&C that I can remember that prohibits this.

As I said, they are an official third-party. Not just a random start-up company like DCK Shop.

If they weren't an official subsidiary, they wouldn't be listed on vBulletin's "purchase" page: https://www.vbulletin.com/order/

Well, I was merely pointing out that they are not a subsidiary. They are a partner - so a third party. Official, yes of course. But not a subsidiary. They are a (official) third party seller.
But obviously DCK is a completely different thing as they sell pre-owned licenses and don't offer full support.

The point is that they are endorsed by vBulletin (official) whereas DCK Shop is not... and on that point, we both obviously agree. :)

I replied to his other thread, I'm looking to get a vBulletin unbranded license, but there is no option on his site for unbranded. Hmph.

Also note, you can buy vBulletin licenses in bulk for cheaper and then resell, though his prices are even cheaper than the price for the max bulk.

Hopefully I can figure out how to get an unbranded one. xD

I'd be careful, I dont like to shit on someone trying to make an earning or steer people away from him, but be aware he maybe considered as acting as a unofficial reseller of licenses and that is against the TOS according to Jelsoft

Though an argument can be made against that, (and I'd also argue against it) but I remember in the forums Ray Morgan has a different feeling on this business model.

Yeah, I read this as well and was going to mention it. Also, I think it was Steve who had the feeling of uncertainty.

Edit: Looks like it was both of them. :D http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=316008

It's been 4 days and he hasn't replied to my email. Oh well, I suppose it was too good to be true. Did anyone go straight to the online shop and order one? How did it go?
