I'm going to be transferring two of my domains from GoDaddy to Namecheap. I have never transferred registrars before so I'm a bit lost.

Does anybody know of an article or tutorial? I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I feel so dumb.... but I just don't want to screw anything up.
    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks Kevin! That was easy!

Luckily, one of the domains I am transferring is one that I don't use for anything important, so I'm using it as the dummy account. If all goes well, then I will be moving my primary domain over as well.

'Tis easier than I thought! :D

Both transfers are complete. It's been a total of about 6 hours, which in my opinion, isn't bad at all.

Overall it came out to $6.99 per domain for the transfer and free WhoisGuard protection.

Very quick and easy, and I'm extremely satisfied. :)

Lucky nick.. I have a client who wants me to transfer his domain from Godaddy to my Namecheap, we Godaddy has rejected the transfer 5 times now each one of them taking about 5 days so its been a month :S quite annoying actually.

Yep, just two. The rest of mine are already with Namecheap. :)

Why are the transfers being rejected? The only reason I can think of is if the domains with GoDaddy are locked.

Yah thats what i thought and I asked the client he said they were not locked so I am not sure.
