When did you buy your first vBulletin license? What version was vBulletin on? How many licence do you have?

The last one doesn't have with the topic to do but might be interesting anyway.

I bought my first license in early 2007, I think it was VB 3.6, but not 100% sure on that. Currently I have 3 licenses.

I think it was early January 2006, if I'm not mistaken. I remember converting the forum from phpBB shortly after Christmas.

Well I worked with a partner before then so those licenses weren't "mine" - they were ours. And before that, I was a co-administrator on other forums.
So I'm not as new to the scene as I am to owning my own license.

I can't think of exactly when it was... I want to say early 2004, but I'm not too sure.

While I've been using vBulletin for many years, I still find myself learning something new on a daily basis - I'm constantly stumbling upon features that I once thought were nonexistent.

It most certainly has a learning curve (every forum script does - some steeper than others), but once you get the "feel" for it, you'll be golden. ;)

I think the hardest part is understanding the template system; it's enormous. But once you get used to it I think most people like it.

No, not really. It's so easy to pick up. Once you learn how the AdminCP works, it's amazing. It may not be the most appealing, but it is very effective and simple to navigate; It only takes a few clicks to get to anywhere.

That's all there is to it, really. It's one of the easiest scripts to figure out and use. No learning curve at all, in my opinion. :)

... and if you find the default administrative theme to be unbearable, there are a few to choose from. :P
