How long did it take you to get 1000 members?

    Im not there yet

    but on another forum i had it took around 7 months

    On my main forum, about a 10 - 12 months, I think that would be a good rough estimate.

    On the other 2 forums, I have not reached 1,000 members yet.

    Hmm, I don't remember how long... when I took over my main forum I think it had about 500 members, mostly inactive. It took a while to claw out of the grave, then started to pick up again after about 1,300 members.

    How did you do your promotion for that site, tryfuhl? Has growth remained steady?

    7 months is a pretty impressive time frame. A lot of forums burn out before they hit 1000 members.

    You must be doing something right ;)

    7 months is impressive. But I think 4 days is even more-so. :lol:

    My forum is 17 months old and we are just reaching 800 members. We're going slow but steady -- and that's all that matters to me. As long as we're consistent, I'm happy. :)
