Forums with V.I.P Memberships!

I don't even think I could begin listing all of them - there are a vast number of 'em. Any particular niche?

basically yeah, and what they offer for what price/ specs and who and why does it!

My site has VIP memberships.

There's more to that package than the details says, I guarantee :p

 

My site also others VIP memberships, 2 tiers of them (soon to be 3)
One of them allows access to a special VIP forum while the other one is cheaper and basically gives you a fancy name to show your support.

 

I've been thinking about doing tiered premium memberships also; so the cheaper one is basically just a status symbol while the other gives more privileges? Which is more popular?

I think people prefer the more expensive, because of the exclusive forums.
I'm thinking of trying 3 tiers: Bronze, Silver & Gold.

 

I do not currently have V.I.P Membership however plan to do so in the coming months, we are beginning to be featured in magazines, and other high profile websites and so our guests and user registrations are really starting to grow.

However being a sport website that has more or less covered, I do not know what I can offer in ways of VIP Membership - I don't have any hidden forums for people to gain access to (unless I create one where some forum rules are relaxed or something) - so at the moment the only thing I could offer is like additional PM Space, etc etc - I do plan on getting merchandise for my website shortly and can organise to allow members signed up to VIP Membership to get a discount on purchasing those things... I don't know really.

 

what kind of merchandise are you working on, merk_aus? T-shirts, hats etc. or something unique?

 

I have Caps (which have my logo on the front/website address on the back and my two main sponsors on the side - one side each), I have T-Shirts being made, Polo shirts, Mouse-Pads, and we are also working getting things like Wrist Bands, Drink Bottles etc something that sports players could use seem we are a sporting website.

 

I hope I'm not hyjacking your thread... Just wondering for those Admin who do have a paid usergroup like V.I.P on their forums, do you show the private forum to normal members or keep it hidden?
