Will you be picking up sale-priced vB licenses as 4.0 approaches?

Some people may be jumping ship as vB4 approaches, not wanting to deal with a major upgrade or the new pricing structure. They may decide to keep running 3.8 or find a new package entirely. With more vB licenses being put up for resale, are you thinking of picking up a bargain?

 

Would be interesting to see. Have been waiting for the surge in license transfer requests and third-party sales that people forecast for vBulletin licenses. However we haven't seen it yet.

 

I've seen some pretty good deals already, but I don't have a use for a license at this time. If I did, then I'd be all over it.

I just missed a 9-month old vBSEO license on sale for $70. Arny beat me to it I believe though.
But again - I don't have a use for it.

 

Have always been some deals out there but I haven't seen any volume increase. That is all I am saying.

 

Maybe it will start closer to the transition. Personally I hope to find some bargains, I have about 5 more forum ideas.

Considering the AdminAddict marketplace currently has two "vB license wanted" threads and no new "vB license for sale" posts today, it looks like demand for used licenses is outstripping the supply here.

Nice. How did you found it? I think I will order an licence there now but I take an 5 months old since thats cheaper and doesn't matter so much since vb4 might changes the price structure so then atleast I will have an active licence at the time so it might be cheaper to upgrade
