Hi there. I feel I could use a admin right around know to help on Oyobiia. Someone with outside views. Hence why none of my other staff are getting it. The position will not be a paid job. You will be expected to make sure things go slowly, introduce new ideas with the community and most of all, enjoy yourself. If you do not like teenagers posting "lolwat" and "failcakes" then this would not be the position for you. If you still feel like you can improve our board then please reply to this thread or PM me. During this Month, June and most likley July... Updates will be happening on the site as a whole. We would like to start getting adults to use the site as much as teenagers. With all of our existing staff being under the age of 16 I feel having a "older" administrator to show us a new range of ideas which will be more suited for adults. Of course we will be keeping the "Internet Playground" feel of the site, these updates we will bring to the forum will try to give the site a different feeling, like using Twitter, FaceBook... Bebo etc. We hope to customize most aspects of the forum to make our community unique. How ever, If the board is to move to this new level, drastic changes have to be made with our staff. Whilst my staff are excellent at what they do, there lack of maturity deems then irresponsible to stay on the moderation team. The site is Oyobiia.com <3 Look forward to hearing from you D:
I am a little interested since I have wanted to create my own general forum but not alone. And I think I can bring some ideas to the table.
Not even joking who ever goes with that partnership should have a pretty good sense of humor and some 4chan knowledge... Maybe even read a bit of Encyclopedia Dramatica. The forum is one of my faves <3
In my honest opinion I think you would have problems...since you take basically everything people criticize as an insult.
I have a question. Why do you need another admin? I was just looking through some of he threads, and either everyone is a mod or an admin. You had like 1 or 2 actual members posting that weren't mods or admins. I am not saying anything against it, just asking a question.
I am glad you have asked me this. During this Month, June and most likley July... Updates will be happening on the site as a whole. I was admin/global mod to 4 sites at one point. One was mine, the rest I was elected by the staff for my position. I would like to help out as a member only, then you can promote me when you see fit. I'd say the serious discussion section would be a good place to start the attraction of older/more mature members. Sadly, I doubt you will get more mature members with your site icon. It just yells forchan to the visitor.
It's actually 4chan or Four Chan, dude. Secondly you can be surprised how much maturity can be found on 4chan lovers.
But 4chan is cool But I like the idea of being promoted along the ranks... I also see in the last 24 hours some big activity from you :O Indeed 4chan does have some maturity... *some*
I'll take the ranking up through the bottom ranks. Prove myself Sadly, your staff is acting hostile towards me, especially when I give advice. They might be too sensitive. I mean, they were nice when I was a member.. but now that I'm a Guru... I really do love the site feeling though I have nothing against 4chan either.
