    The software is great, the support is pretty solid. I've been using vB for 6 years now and can't contemplate changing. I'm not sure where you got your ideas from but I'd probably actually experience it before I trash-talked it.

    Myself and BamaStangGuy just bought a IPB 3.0 license. Since its pretty evident vB 4.0 isn't going to be up to par with IPB 3.0 we're gonna give it a shot on this one site, and see where it goes from there.

    I have to say that I really like the "Look & Feel" section of IPB, specially how you "work" with it.

    Though vB is more, specified...?

    On topic, no I still don't want it. I am actually getting rid of my vB license as soon as possible. I have no interest in keeping it after the stuff I have read and seen.

    I want to start a site and try out IPB 3 as well. My first "real" forum ever was with IPB and it was fairly successful. I closed it down though in order to start another one (on vBulletin). I enjoyed using IPB, but I just can't seem to really like it anymore. Using it is like pulling teeth.

    I forsee many used vB licenses available in the near future... could be a bonanza for people who decide to stick with vB.
