Attached is a screenshot of an ad that's running on this very site, for urljet hosting. :D

Would anyone trust a hosting company that can't even spell the name of the software it is advertising hosting services for?

    I did notice that before.

It's pretty easy to miss mistakes like that though.

It is, but it's just as easy to fix them. And not doing so shows shoddiness and poor standards on the part of the prospective host.

Seriously, having seen that advert I'd not touch them with a barge pole. I probably wouldn't have *anyway*, but even if I needed new hosting services I'd not look there now.

Sloppy of them not to fix it.

I wouldn't trust them, though I don't trust anyone. I am the biggest jynx when it comes to hosting though :(

Does this forum have a fail whale? Can we bring it out for this occasion?

Seriously, they probably outsourced that graphic to a country where English is not the primary language and never noticed the mistake.

Hahaha! I didn't expect anyone to actually post one. Thanks Randy :)

I think the whale is rather cute, which kind of takes away from its role as social censure :)

Mark, I guess I hadn't let them know before about the spelling error. I e-mailed him this morning and told him, and I got the replacement back in a matter of five minutes. So it's my fault for not telling them sooner.

Michelle, you can view the ad on the sidebar on the forum index. I told them I'll let them know if my members find anymore discrepancies. :giggle:
