If you have a few $ to spend I've got some great ideas that would bring in far more people. But it would be a bit of work.

 

One copy of each script (vBulletin and IP.Board) will be installed. Members would then be able to log in and play around with things using a test account.

Are you going to post up the adminCP name and password for the world to see? That might not be such a good idea..

Are you thinking about several pre-made accounts in a virgin database?

I think they said something about PM. Though in MyBB[I don't know on other forum software's] You can actually make mods or regular users have a look at certain parts of the dashboard...

Like what I have for my mods. They have access only to the Forum[just editing and adding forum] and users [only for activation purposes, they can't manage them]

 

It's safe, there's a way to specifically use the scripts to demo them to people.

 

I think we should be allowed to use custom usertitles here. Since we all are admins here, we should be given that privilege!

Yeah, we've considered that. We haven't devised a list of people we would like to interview or even questions we would like to ask.

 

An anonymous venting forum. Sometimes you just have to scream and let someone hear it. You don't even need to allow replies but it would be interesting to see what others say to the outbursts. Of course the outbursts would have to be limited to the area of managing communities.

I am thinking it would be cheaper than visiting a therapist.

 

Cheaper, but that doesn't mean it necessarily needs to be free. New source of income for AA?

 

Get rid of your direct competition rule, I always think communities are more worried about business when they initiate such a rule. Ive never used it and never will! Get rid of that and I think you will do just fine.

I'm beginning to like AA more and more now

 

This would be awesome... there are always people out there who could do with some help - some are not top class graphic designers, some are not good coders, some just continue to struggle and would like to see something like this brought it.

They could be called Triple A - Admin Addicts Angels!
