I suppose you forgot to change that part. :p

 

One quick suggestion, other than what Savage already recommended, is to completely change the guest message text. It's the vBulletin default and nobody ever reads that, quite frankly.

Give a nice intro describing (briefly) what your site is about and why members should join. Take a look at my guest message as an idea.

 

It took me a couple minutes to figure out what your forum was all about.

 

That's a nice skin, overall. The only aspect(s) of the visual appearance that I would consider changing are the "New Topic" and "Add Reply" buttons. For some reason, they don't match the rest of the skin as nicely as they could (in my opinion).

Other than that, it looks good.

 

Same here. Until someone reads your intro, there's nothing to tell anyone what the forum is about. Lawl doesn't do it.

You have a very short time to make a good first impression. Many people would leave within the first minute or two. You need to do something to 'grab' them.

 

I'm actually REALLY glad you brought that up, because not only was the name still outdated, the links to the forum that basically explains who and what we are and our registry link still had Guilty Trigger in them XD

But yeah, I fixed that...I know our guest message doens't give much info, but I hope the forum it links to helps out...if not, I'll figure something out.

Oh, and in regards to the Reply/New Topic buttons, I'm having trouble finding someone who can design some...I'd do it myself, but I'm not that experienced with Photoshop (that and I don't have CS3/4 to do anything GOOD with...Elements 6 isn't THAT spectacular XD)

 

We have quite the graphic designer crowd here. Perhaps you'd be interested in checking out our Graphics Requests forum. I don't think a single request has gone unfulfilled to-date.

We'll see. I wasn't sure what to offer in return, I hope that hasn't turned anyone off from considering my request.

 

It shouldn't. I haven't offered anything for any of my graphics requests (except one) and they have all been fulfilled. Plazzman is very willing to do volunteer requests.
Feel free to bump your request thread if you like. I'll make an exception for 'ya.

Oh, and I installed AIO on the site...it's some add-on that allows ZetaBoards sites to have a money system and reputation. W00T...

 

I haven't seen plazz around in a while, hmm.
