No, but I've had a little fun on an Obama forum once. If you see Michael Bloomberg talking smack, I don't know anything about it :spin:

Honestly, I can't remember right now. If I do I'll let you know. I heard that the forum was actually a spoof but not sure.

 

I was raided when my forums first started by a group of idiots -

My sport website reports on news and doesn't sugar coat it unlike other media outlets in Australia do due to their contractual arrangements with teams/competitions, so we speak the truth what we see we report and there is a team in Australia that is regulary in the media for poor off field behaviour from drugs/alcohol incidents to the whole team being accused of rape.

Well a mate of mine at the time was a huge fan of the team and wanted to break away from their supporter forums as it was just infighting (as the team was performing poorly on the field) and so he wanted a clear start so I helped him set up a forum and helped with the design etc - well because I helped him they came to my site abusing the hell out of me, posting pornographic images making some comments about my 12 month old son (at the time) including things like how I like to grab his curls while forcing my ____ down his ____ and this really pissed me off.

Being part of the media field I was about to go and report from the fan day the club had organised and many of the idiots contacted me and stated that if I or anyone from my website turned up they would get bashed (something else this teams supporters is known for outside their home stadium).

And I contacted the "Supporter" website - they did nothing, I contacted the club itself - they did nothing at all - and so I went to the Media an an article appeared the very next day in one of the highest selling newspapers on the internet.

The mate I helped set up the website for he was called and emailed threatening to kill him and stuff and the paper had all of this type of thing.

At first there was a public backlash for it - people saying I should of handled it in house, or gone to the police not added to the teams poor off field image etc etc and then it just all stopped - I received a letter of apology from the club who included Season Tickets - which I ripped up - and they havent been back to my website.

Even though I am banned from their supporter forums (the club doesnt run it - it is just something some fans set up) a mod on my site is a member and every now and again someone pops up there and criticises one of my articles or something but the thread gets locked quickly and the person finds themselves banned for a couple days.

 

Unbelievable... what a gigantuous waste of time. What could possibly make them do such a thing? Sorry you had to go through that.

What an awful experience. I've never understood why people try to cover up or make excuses for sports stars and other celebrities; if they committed a crime, they should no longer enjoy the benefits of fame and fortune.

 

I could NEVER forget 4chan, 6 hours, 20 waves or raiding, more than 600 bans on both chat AND forum. :| You DO NOT want to get mad at someone who can convince 4chan-ers.

4chan is an image board that exist to mock everyone. Pisoga - Encyclopedia Dramatica Encyclopedia Dramatica is the *food* for the 4chan trolls. That page had a LOT more bashing on the original creators and some mods [not me!! woot!].

EDIT: To add the 4chan image board is divided in sections, which I am not allowed to talk about. :S

 

Chris, I had heard of 4chan before but still have absolutely no idea what the heck it is. I always see /b/ and /g/ posted on some forums and I just don't get it.

I've looked at their website and quite frankly, it confuses me. :p

Seriously, stuff like that is a douche move. But I admit to being a full-time chantard. It's not that bad once you desensitize yourself to scat, gore, and other shock images. Then the only stuff that bugs you are the newfags.

 

Technically it would have been as easy as validating new members, no?

 

Suuuuuureeee, the're are 1000+ awaiting activation members, and I am NOT doing it one by one. So no, I prefer banning ^_____^
