Actually I have noticed that google has started to penalize some of these sites as spam. I am still looking into it, but I think if some of these ad sites implemented some SEO tactics they may be able to circumvent the google penalties. But, yeah Bandit has a very nice site. I bounce in and out there myself
Thanx guys. I hadn't heard about any penalties for advertising boards. But we did get PR1 in the last update, then got it taken away 2 days later.
Yeah I noticed this also. I had a bunch of backlinks on a couple ad sites and then my indexed links started to drop. They were the only thing new, so I went and removed them. And they started coming back. The only correlation I could find was using these ad sites. And I noticed a lot of them if you check them have no PR and some have very little indexed pages. Just something I was keeping an eye on.
Cerberus, I've only added my sites to a handful of these forum advertising sites so far, would you recommend I erase them as well?
I'm curious to hear about this as well. I don't believe it at first, but on the other hand, I don't want to take any chances and get penalized.
