Hope to see this site improve with more active posters and threads, especially vB5 threads.

    Congrats again on the purchase

Brandon, will you be staying with us?

If true, will AWS allow the freedom of posting that Brandon until recently allowed? Or will posts be censored?

^That bit probably won't be a problem, AWS has always seemed rather... relaxed when it comes to what he allows people to post on his forums. After all, some of the same anti vBulletin people were on Admin Addict or wherever when AWS owned it, and they got to be as harsh about the software as anyone else.

My only worry is that this guy bought another admin forum too... and then didn't do much to keep it active. Here's hoping Admin Talk has better luck.

Well seems to cat got out of the bag.

The difference between AA and here is this place has active staff. AA didn't and the site suffered because of it.

I still haven't taken down the closing sign on AA. I am not sure what I will do with it yet. I am burned out, but, when offered this site the juices started to flow again.

Nothing will change except for the server it's on. The only time I will censor anything is when it gets personal or if you're only here to troll.

And Mark B. Don't leave. You and I have differing opinions and different values, but, I value your participation in discussions. If you want to leave that's fine. Give it a try. When we had our problem I was going through a lot and acted harshly and with haste. Should have sat back and cooled off before I acted.

Take the dead site, merge it into here. its easier when you have good staff to help grow.

I think this is the direction AT needed. It seemed to be really dying off here lately.

That is one option. Both sites offer a lot as far as resources and articles go. I will discuss that later with staff. For now I just want to get it on my servers.

I think that's a great idea. Although I'm not an active member of the other site I've seen enough of it to agree that a merger would help this site grow.

And congratulations on your new acquisition :)

Thanks. I will talk to staff and get their input on a merger. I do agree that merging the 2 would be the best thing to do. I will not do it until staff has some input into it.

Congratulations AWS! May I ask, how much you paid for?
You can just stay the range like $100+ or $200-$300.
I'm just interested, sorry if I'm wasting your time :)

Why did Brandon sell this forum for, thought he liked running this one? And I saw you logged in as Admin here before Christmas AWS when doing the forum upgrade I think it was. I have to say though, you was posting that you'd had enough of running forums and was shutting all your sites down just before Xmas, now your keeping AA open at the last minute, your not shutting it down on the 1st Jan, 2014, and you have owned this forum around the same time you said you was shutting all sites and had enough of running forums.

Anyway, bye... can't be doing with the keep saying things and changing your mind at last minute. I think your a very sly person AWS who tells lies, otherwise known as David McHenry.

Delete my account from here and Admin Addict. I have the same view as Mark.B now...

When was the last time you deleted your forums and started them up again? I lost count.
