So vbseo.com shows this ATM.

 

I logged in to see the same...anyone knows what's going on ^?

 

And then DBTech SEO has just started.

I heard some news today which actually made me pretty sad about my own message. It seems Juan had been in an accident and he will go through a surgery. This happened while he was working on a server switch. I hope he is OK

 

Didn't the same happen to the guy who was left alone to support the VBSEO script ??

 

Thanks for the link, it looks like they are working with "seovb".. That's to bad, just lost any respect for the dragonbyte team with that tidbit of news.

Geez what an ugly site. Would take a new visitor a week to get past all the ads just to figure out where the useful info is if there is any.

It seems he was riding his Bike and his backpack with his laptops saved his life.

 

95% chance this story is false and made up. The other vBSEO support guy Andres already played this card once, and didn't have an actual accident. And this laptop saving his life story has been used at vBulletin.org by nexalyis or whatever is name was before when we stopped supporting his stuff for a while.

Just another excuse.

 

You may choose to lie on many things in your life but please don't assume other people are like you.

 

The "old" owner, which I wouldn't doubt still owns it, is a known scammer and tried to steal my identity years ago.

 

I don't blame anyone who thinks that to be honest. Too many cases of people lying about personal tragedies online exist, so anyone who's a tad skeptical is kind of justified on that front.

Heck, I remember a few times when projects I was following were 'cancelled' due to the creator faking their death in a car accident, or pretending that they were dying of cancer.

But I guess it's best to give this guy the benefit of the doubt for now, and just watch out for any interesting changes in story later.

 

Also, what about SEOvB? What did they do so wrong all those years ago?
