4 Month Review of VPS on KnownHost

We just hit the 4 month mark on KnownHost, and I wanted to share my experience. I'm extremely picky/OCD, and I've been with 3 different hosts since our website was founded in November 2011.

This summer, I discovered KnownHost SSD-VPS, and I will never be switching hosts again.

Why?

1) The speed: SSD VPS is faster than anything I've ever used. For once, our host isn't a drag in our page loading - it's a boost! My pingdom scores skyrocketed, and my Google PageSpeed performance went up 10 points! This also directly impacted our SEO rankings. We'll take anything we can get with vBulletin's default speeds...

2) The support: This should actually be #1 on my list. I have never worked with a company that cares so much about the wellbeing of my weird website. Last weekend we were hacked and I opened up a total of 10 support tickets throughout the week. The average initial response for each one was 30-60 seconds. They got us back up and running so quickly. And then they helped us secure our entire site so that it would never happen again! They were kind, compassionate, patient, and brilliant during the worst period of my administrative life.

This is so far above & beyond any host I've ever been with. I do not often give glowing recommendations for anything, but KnownHost deserves it. Hope this helps anyone else in search of a VPS!

I've only recently switched to a KnownHost SSD VPS a few months ago this summer but so far I can't complain. In comparison to the dedicated server I had with Burst.Net, I've had no downtime, no unexplained issues, and the performance has remained the same if not better. So far I'm happy with the decision to switch to them.
