Do your visitors stats increase every month?

 

Are you referring to real visitors or are you including spiders, bots, etc.?
As far as human visitors, yes, mine increase every month.
Unregistered guests can't even see my forums.
Kind of incentivizes the two minutes it takes to register.

 

Mostly. Visitor stats for my forums have arguably not gone up massively in recent weeks, but the registration stats have. For my news site on the other hand, it seems like stats have gone up and up on a monthly basis.

 

In the last few months, I got 10-15% more visitors every months but I guess this is normal for a 1 year old forum.

 

I check analytic every day and it seems as if our statistics are going up all the time, but gradually. We seem to have a spike of traffic recently though.

 

It varies pending on how active I have been. I notice that a lot of my forums need me to be active to survive

 

Which ones do you use the most Google Analytics or AWSTATS ?

 

I swear Google Analytics/Webmasters is inaccurate. I'm getting hits from some very odd searches and quite often I'm no where near the first couple of pages.

 

I think awstats counts robots hots and Analytics doesn't

 

The visitors to my site don't always go up but at the moment they are because of how active my site has been with so many posts being made to my forum, one thing which i'm worrying about is that people will get bored of my site and leave..

 

I use Google Analytics. I haven't used AWStats in a long time. Currently, my visitors for the summer have been increasing because we got a new link on a game that just opened and they averaged 2,000 users online at a given time. Their link is Flight rising

Increasing your visitors is easier when you're posting on other forums, getting links, and being an active contributor on those sites.

 

My visitor stats have been increasing every month until this month, because I haven't been promoting as much. I've been busy coding, and preparing to take out my competition.

 

Nope it doesn't increase much, very slow growth in stats.

 

What's the traffic like for your community though?

 

Hmm it is in the range of 120-180 visitors per day

 

Interesting Topic, it made me have a thorough look through my Analytic's data.

Between last month and this Month there was around a 15% Increase in overall Unique Visitors and Page Views. If I can maintain that same rate over the next 6 Months I'll be happy, obviously anything over that would be a great bonus too
