I can't get logged in to those pages. I click the link to login and I'm redirected to the forum after I log in. I paste the URL into my the browser that I have vb.com logged in and I'm still logged out.

Yeah that happened to me the other day.

You have to log into the forum at vBulletin.com first. Then you can access the JIRA links. If you try to login at JIRA, it just loops you back forever.

After almost two years, they're fast! I'm sure all of those who migrated to another software are regretting that decision now.

Yeah well... 2 years or 20... I'm happy to see them doing something. :)

Eh... too little, too late... almost 2 years ago when PHP 5.4 was in RC phase, they were talking about not wanting to update to 5.4 because it wasn't "final" yet. Was a silly excuse even back then...

For those of you who've moved on, yes - too little too late.

Not for those of us who haven't (yet).

It's about time but it's only catchup on their part. Too little too late is right and although this has been a beef with many I don't think it was a deciding factor for those of us who have moved on. Many people running vB 4.x feel abandoned and very few like what they have done or plan to do with vB5 disconnect.

No CKE update, just pure solving PHP issue because the lateness is already well over cliff.
Expect another round of bitching after the release.

Indeed. I've always been a bit confused about the CKE issue though. Are people experiencing problems with it?

Sme IE 10 users seem to. It can be worked around by forcing compatibility mode.

    The workaround doesn't work.
Mark need to invest some times reading the forum and JIRA.
In both places, people had pointed out that it doesn't work.

Frankly, since vB.com "upgraded" to vB5, I only go there when I have to. It's still frustratingly slow and clumsy to navigate.

    Status: Could careless.

I bought my 3rd Xenforo license a few days ago and converted my biggest board yesterday. I no longer run vBulletin software.

Sorry to be snarky but the fact that it's taken vBulletin this long and still no official support for 5.4 speaks volumes.

I'm still checking to see if my "can't live without" add-ons can be replicated with IPB and then I'll likely switch sooner rather than later. But that still leaves me with wo other licenses and a total of 5 other forums (3 aren't mine - I am just tech admin there) to keep maintained with vBulletin for as long as possible.

If you dont care, and dont run vBulletin, why do you feel the need to make posts here then ?

Im starting to think I should go into the XF & IPB sections and start posting how little I care about their updates.

Anyway it's "COULDN'T care less". I have no idea where this annoying propensity for people to say COULD care less actually started, but it makes absolutely no sense at all.

Because I can. People can speak their minds here unlike other sites.
