How many domains do you own?

I own about 2 domains currently and I don't think I'll be buying anymore if the future unless something comes up because I'm mainly focused on my community right now.

So, how many domains do you own? How many are actually websites or forums?

 

8, but most of them are really the same domain.
For example, I own X.com, but I also own X.net, X.org, X.info, X.co, X.us, X.biz, etc. so that no one else can purchase them. They all redirect to the .com site, however, excepting my test domain. They are all for one forum.

 

24 at the moment, some are .com & .co.uk of the same domains though.

 

I have 4 and I plan to buy more over the winter.

I own 8 right now but I'm using each of them to launch projects. I intend to purchase more but I want to sit down and map out my business plan before I go through the process of purchasing more. There is a strategic method to how I want to go about it. I know there are sites that offer domains for penny on the dollar but I'm trying to work out ways to keep my host and purchase the names for a bulk rate. I think having more domains that is necessary defeats the purpose sometimes. I know a few online marketers whom own over 100 domains whom seem to have let their sites go on the wayward without updates. There is one concept to consider purchasing hundreds of domains, loading it with content and waiting to get money for the life of the site and there is another concept to actually preloading the sites with content so it's updated with fresh content, nurturing advertising opportunities , and taking the time to really make the site relevant. That's the route I want to go.

 

Right now I own 4 domains but I'm not making anything with them. I'll focus only of two of them and just the rest expire.

 

I normally have around 10 in my Account at any one time, any more than that or old ones I know I wont be using ever again I sell them off to make some money back.

Although, some Domains I have are just a different extension of a previous one such as .com and .co.uk

 

I currently own 2 domains which are truegamers.biz and generalchat.biz both were from namecheap biz sale pretty awesome tbh like $2.98 each

 

Over 20. Most I'm not doing anything with at the moment.

 

Currently I am down to 15 Domains - (14 are Developed and generating some form of revenue or serving as lead generators to feed another revenue generating product or service site within my small network). As far as forums go, Since I'm mostly Full time with NamePros (Admin), I don't really have time to run any of my own forums anymore and locked them up. They mainly just serve as unique content pages now for organic traffic (archived). However, I do still operate my service sites in my spare time and run some updates on my fully automated product and lead generator sites from time to time though.

I won about 5/6. 4 of them are the same just .org/.com and .net/.com

 

I own about 30. I don't know why...

 

I own 12 right now.. Sometimes I ask myself why.

 

I have about two dozen domains.

 

I own about 20 domains, some have websites up on them while others are lying idle. I picked up the idle ones mainly for flipping them as they are based on some 2-word terms or are 4 letter domains that could sell well.

There used to be a time when I had decided to develop website empire and invested in about a hundred domains over the space of a couple of months. This was many years ago when I still had my day job. I found that I could not spare any time to develop them and the domains just expired after a year.

 

I own 3 domains at the moment, and im about to sell one of them. Honestly, they're should be NO reason to own about 10+ domains unless you profit out of them. However, most people (like me) do not have the skills to do something like that.

 

over 40 domains.

10 forums. 4 pretty active. 2 very.

 

I own three domains only at the moment, but two are just for myself for emails really. I've had a bit of a break from this sort of thing for a couple of years. At one time I did own about six.
