Have you guys been to ZenGarden yet? I discovered this site when I was doing my first Web development last year.

The text on this site remains the same. There are a lot of designs available and upon choosing one of them the whole look of the site changes. All of this is done just by changing the CSS. I was blown away when I first saw this. Thats when I understood the power of CSS.

I know this site since past few years. I love their CSS styles and have done a couple of websites on my clients recommendations based on their CSS. The best thing is that somehow, they have managed to make the CSS cross browser compatible and some of their sites (which I tried) look great on even IE6.
As for the beauty of CSS, yes, I have realized that the newer CSS3 is still more glamorous - given the fact that it now supports gradients - thereby practically removing the need of any image on the website (of course, on the design sides only).

I know CSS Zen Garden and have looked at many of their designs in the past for inspiration. It's awesome what can be done with CSS.

I realized about the power of CSS many years ago when I saw that someone coded a lemmings game in DHTML, using javascript and CSS. Here you can read a little about that game: DHTML Lemmings primer.

Yeah, I've been to CSS Zen Garden before. Great site, love the different styles and things. Definitely showcases the kind of great designs that CSS can be used for.

I heard somewhere it was the Zen Garden's 10th anniversary recently, and that's why it's making the rounds again. Hard to imagine CSS came onto the scene ten whole years ago!
