Just found this forum talking to Eric @ namepros. I am a big board member from TAZ, and an overall domain/web junkie... I started 4 years ago a 4700 member firearms community, over 500,000 posts and extremely active community. Hoping I can help contribute and learn from others.

Welcome to the community. We're glad to have you here. How has your firearms community been doing since firearms have been in the news so much these past few months?
About a 15% bump in visitors, and on average more members. Went from about 5 a day to 8 to 10 a day as a lot of new people are looking at buying their first firearm. Big issue now is trying to separate Email from forum.... As all the subscribed topics, pm replies, and notifications are about 20k a day. Slowing things down.
Hey now... I was review staff on TAZ and a proud big board member. =P There is amazing content on there and great people... just a tad slow. I will be honest, part of reason here, I want to play with XenForo.... it is a good alternative for simple forums where I do not want to do IPB.
