When is anyone going to make IP Connect mods?

While I love how IP Connect works and the general idea of integrating the member database for multiple forums, am I the only one who wonders when it's going to take off already?

Because I haven't seen a whole lot of sites using it in recent weeks or months, and the amount of mods that tie IPB to scripts like WordPress, Drupal, other forum scripts, etc is suprisingly low (aka non existant). Is there a reason for this? Do IPS themselves have to release some demo integration setups to encourage people to make bridges between IPB and other software based on this functionality?

 

I doubt anyone will take advantage of IP Connect. Those wanting to bridge with Wordpress will use IPBWI.

I have not seen a demo by IPS that included other software. There have been many attempts to have a bridge between those two and they have always been glitched up and unfinished.
