vBulletin 4.2 is a major feature release that delivers user requested functionality to both the vBulletin 4 Suite & Forum products. vBulletin 4.2 contains only feature changes and issue fixes related to those feature changes.

So I got this friendly email from one of the staff members when I was questioning the activity stream.
I stated that between the
activity stream
new post
what's new
& today's post

you see 95% of the same content
Then I mentioned that I couldn't see my latest post via the "show last post" on my profile..

I guess that hit a nerve

Honestly, it could have been worded a lot better in a PM then what was said there. But I guess we all get like that.

 

Did you get banned, just read you losing the plot.

 

This applies to everyone who talks about xenForo & Internet Brands lawusit. Anyone contacting Wayne about that particular lawsuit, or snark remarks about the company/lawsuit - infraction. So, your post is probably related somewhat.

But I do see where you're coming from. I had the same attitude from Steve Machol last August, that led into a refund of my licenses. Full $570.

It seems to have some performance increases though. I noticed that after we upgraded our forums.

I'm not quite sure really. I'm still trying to figure that out. Show threads seems to be faster, as long as messaging. I like the activity stream as well, but I think it could be a bit better.

I'm not that surprised Wayne gets fed-up at times. I've not been back that long at vBulletin able to read the customer forums again, in the short time I have been back after Wayne actually removed my old ban. There's does appear to be quite a few who voice their opinions strongly, more than I thought there would have been. Glad I'm not in Wayne's shoes to be honest, because I'd get fed up of listening to them day in, day out as well pretty fast.
