I doubt it, I'm a vet when it comes to forums. I have one forum, which oddly enough shares the name of this, which I have been posting at for five years. But I've left it because it's full of so much drama. Please, is this place drama free?! I do hope so!

I don't think we have any drama around, if I do the mods keep me medicated enough that I don't notice it...lol

When I picked up this domain I saw that one without the dashes and was certain I could do better.. hehe
We've only officially been open since March of this year, and we're climbing up the search engine listing everyday for terms like "general forum" "general forums" and "general discussion"

This site isn't as old as the one you listed, it's building up each day.
We also have a contest going on, that always helps boost the post.
