Smilies

This isn't real important, but I was wondering if there's a way to organize the smilie bank somehow. You have some great smilies (and I love to use them), but it's so hard to find the one you're looking for when you want it. I don't know, maybe alphabetize?

Yeah I know. Maybe in groups or something? I can't even find the LOL one and I end up giving up and just typing LOL. LOLOLOL!

 

Why?? They're not written on paper. Cut out a smiley list then pipe it through "sort" (which allows start column to be specified too, both on Windoze and UN*X).

If you send me the text I can do it for you. Won't take long.

I know there was a mod before that would allow the users to select which emotions they wanted to use the most, then allowed the user to group those emotions together.

 

Can you export them as an XML or CSV file?

Sure they're in a database table somewhere ... or are they hardcoded?

p.s.: If they're stored in a database table, in principle you only need to add an ORDER BY clause to the SQL statement that fetches the list, if you can access that.

if not, I'm pretty sure I've seen an option/mod for it

 

I don't have access to do anything in my userCP. I can't edit my profile, or change any settings. I probably just need to post more.
