Coming with topic ideas

Would say it's hard to come up with topic ideas sometimes?

Occasionally, it is for me, as I'm not much of a fan of posting in my general discussion area..

 

Yes, but I also look at similar forums for a "cheat sheet" to create topic ideas. I don't copy and paste though, since unique content is key.

 

That too, but I also get inspired by songs that I'm listening to. Or whatever I'm reading on the web.

 

I get writer's block on occasion as well. So I do what Tronik does and visit my competitor's sites to see what people are babbling about. You can get a lot of ideas that way. I'm also subscribed to my competitors blogs which also provides tons of topics to cover. Another source of inspiration is questions I get from my users or comments I get on facebook. So inspiration is all around you. Sometimes you just don't realize it.

 

Writer's block does suck. One thing that helps me with writer's block, is listening to music, reading some blogs, reading some news, and/or watching TV. Writer's block is only as bad as you make it out to be. It can be defeated with ease.

And also, coming up with new topics is usually quite easy on me depending on how my mind is for the day. If I don't have any sleep, its quite hard to come up with new things, but if I take a nap, I'm good to go. It's always nice to do searches on Google, to see what other forums are doing, and turning their topics into your own.
