Being paranoid about getting hacked?

I've been hacked a few times and it's not a pleasant experience. It does make you very paranoid. But that's why it's important to have a great hosting company that can help you identify vulnerabilities and more importantly close them. It's part of doing business online. If major fortune 100 companies and government systems can be hacked than our little sites can be too. The best thing to do is keep all your software applications up to date and get rid of anything that you aren't using. That was a tough lesson I learned the hard way.
