Haters gonna hate, even guys like me do it from time to time.

There's another really good example on another forum software. Mikey once said he lol'd at the post, and it was pretty ridiculous.

 

Indeed, none of us is perfect we hate, just to an extent and some take it too far.

 

I don't like MyBB, but I would'nt go that far and start insulting everyone and everything about it in a childish way, I'd just move on and leave it be

 

In complete honesty I find websites like this frustrating and slightly annoying in my personal opinion they're childish and I don't see what people get out of them.

Every software is going to have it's down falls and have it's fans and people that don't like it.

I'm all for freedom of speech and everything but I fail to see how this is useful and why someone should dedicate so much time to belittling another websites and it's staff members.

Each to there own and everything but I wouldn't waste my time reading such a website let along creating one.

 

I agree with you, he may not agree and like what is being done over there, but there are better ways to get your word out.. in a more mature and sensible way then acting childish. Maybe he could have named it.. LetsImproveMyBB or something of that sort, and showing his concerns about it and offering up advice in a mature way.

 

As the owner of mybbsux i would like to reply.
I used to use the mybb software. And i must admit i did not mind it either back then although it has changed now and appears to be a little behind (bots etc).
But i pointed out that Tom from mybb.com had lied in a thread. After i pointed it hey got promoted. Ironic i know.
He then edited the threads and closed others and finally deleted others related to this.
All to try and hide what was previously said.
Because i pointed this out i was ultimately banned for 60 days.
I waited the 60 days and only to find out it was extended to a life ban.
This forced me to move to vB because i got no support from mybb.com.
Thats the simple truth behind it.
Unfortunately for mybb.com i found vbulletin.
For a small fee of a couple hundred bux i am able to offer my community a robust product that is updated OFTEN.
I continue the mybbsux.com just because i can. I will continue the domain forever. Just because i can.
Feel free to post on it. I will allow almost any post you want to post

 

Honestly Mybb is one of my favorite Free forum software. Sure it doesnt have a billion plugins like PhpBB... But it has enough. Its easy to theme and there are alot of nice themes out there aswell.
This guy is just butthurt for some reason
