Most revenue you've made in one year?

The most revenue I've ever made was $827 and that was all thanks to adsense. I'm not sure if I can top these earnings one day, but its a good goal to have.

How about you? What's the most revenue you've made in one year?

 

Just ads? Not a whole lot probably $4k that's mostly from private advertising deals. @Cerberus, I have to pick your brain about Adsense one of these days.

This is the 4th year I made more than 100000 euro with one forum. And this is a Dutch (Netherlands) only forum. Why do you guys relay on AdSense so much?

 

Congrats on making over 100K (USD) off your forums, what do you do to monetize it and whats the URL?
For me personally, I've never made a forum to just make money and generally don't run any ads on my sites.
I have a full time job that pays well, my websites are and will always be a hobby for me.

But ok. This also started as a hobby project but as you can see things can run out of hand. That's in 100000+ in EURO's btw and every year.

What do I do? Well forget about AdSense and stuff like that. You need to connect with the companies that your niche forum is all about. Yes it's a niche forum, the only forums that will survive the next few years in my opinion.

Why can't I edit my own posts? After I post I see errors which I can't correct.

 

I use a converter to USD, that's why I added "USD" to my post

I have to agree with the new guy. Welcome aboard DB! While I didn't start my DJ board to make a profit nor do I make a large profit now (due to my exclusivity clause now dropped for 2012) but connecting with brick and mortar companies outside of Adsense/affliate sales made me more money than by signing 1 than Adsense did in 6 months. In fact this year I'll be showing Adsense to guests way under my advertisers though.

Viglink is just bonus money to me. I don't actively pimp Amazon/other affiliate links on my boards. If someone happens to link and someone clicks and buys it's nice that's monetized.

 

Sounds to me its possibly a warez site.

 

In Internet, i had only made just 200$ something near to that. Hope i will earn more.

 

I make most of my money from freelance web and graphic design jobs. I don't put ads up on my site..

 

I would have to say my maximum online revenue in one year has been about $500; not much when you look at the big picture, but I know this year will be better. I have expanded my horizons and am working toward increasing that revenue at least ten-fold.

 

(I tried to edit my message but it wouldn't let me.) I must add the income stated is from revenue shares, Adsense and a variety of small freelancing projects in 2011. I will say Adsense was NOT my top earner. I anticipate a better revenue stream this year, and am already on my way to securing a passive income which could potentially earn me several hundred dollars per year.

 

Hey thanks for posting this thread. I'm new to forums and am currently running adsense. As this is my first year I'm not really sure what to expect in terms of revenue. Thanks for sharing. Though i'm not really sure about the 100K annually website, would be nice for everyone to know what the site is

 

Online poker is still legal, it's just illegal to operate in the US, but not illegal to be a customer.

I only made about $900 all time on the internet(not including poker), but if you include poker then I made about $1200 last year playing poker.
