how to fill up blank backgrounds

    anyone got any ideas on how to fill up dull and boring backgrounds with something more lively and interesting?

    What is this for?
    A sig, banner or wallpaper?

    Possibly use the colours of your site background/theme and change it slightly or you could make it transparent,

    hm....yeah, i could make it transparent, but thats still plain, what about for a wallpaper?

    Stripes? Maybe another picture but 25-35% transparent or something or maybe use the light brush effect on the background picture.

    hm....i like the idea of using stripes. what do you think of grey and yellow as a construction theme, with reduced transparency.....

    Yep, that would work.
    Try out any other features on Photoshop, you can always do Undo if you don't like it.

    thanks, i will definitely keep trying photoshop, just need to download some new brushes :)
