I didn't start my first forum until I was 18 almost 19, I think. I still feel as if I have a lot to learn.

I started my first forum in 2005/2006. I learnt a lot because my community was also hacked twice from that period to 2009, so I had to restart the community over twice. So, it was pretty hectic for a little while trying to re-build, but everything is good now. I don't ever see myself letting go of my community because how I've matured with it, and grown with it.

So, I hope I'm not the only one who started running forums at a low age. I believe I was 15 or 14 when I first started running forums. I learned a lot more now than I did back then. I used to allow members to go back and forth without a care in the world, then I figured all this fighting has to be bad for the community, and thus, I believe we had a restart and went off again, then the hackings came that almost killed us for good, but we battled back and survived.

So, how old were you when you first started running forums? Any stories to share? Any forums that you sold as you grew older?

My first forum was when I was 12 or 13 for a tutorials site that never opened. I eventually posted tutorials exclusively on the forum but when I realized it wasn't gaining any traction after about a year, I stopped posting.
