I have been wanting to get out and do photography for a long time now. I have a great camera that I still need to master. I have a great place where there's plenty of cool stuff to photograph. I just don't make the time to do it. Why? I keep asking myself? Because I HAVE NO CLUE!!!

It's so nice to see the beauty in a photograph. There's something about the taking the picture, going home, printing it out on your screen, and saving it that makes it so rewarding. Yes yes, the act of the analog film developing has a bit of romance to it, but in modern times, that part is skipped and it is what it is.

I see almost every where I go expressions on faces, a beautiful view of a sunset, A pretty plant, gorgeous water views, etc.. But yet, I just don't remember to stop and smell the roses so-to-speak. I don't remember to bring my camera, and I always find myself just wanting to get from point A to point B. I only think of taking a picture when I don't have the camera with me. I'm also afraid of the camera being stolen or frying in my car. But I guess that's somethign that I have to get over if I want this to work. Now that it's getting warmer, I don't think I'll have the excuse of, "It's too cold out to take a picture!" anymore. :P

Oh well. I best get my butt in gear and go take some pictures! Spring has sprung and I gotta get clickin'

I love taking pictures. There's something oddly satisfying about capturing a moment in time that will never happen again. It's a little harder with a digital camera than the old film ones, though. You have to wait for them to turn on before you can take the picture and, usually, the moment is gone.

I'm a sucker for an older style camera, digital just seems so blah. I like having a hard copy.

I recommend keeping that camera as close to you as possible, always. You never know what might develop. I'm sad that I can't take my digicam anywhere other than three feet from my computer. Silly charger.

Havok, I take it you don't have an extended battery. Why not buy one or get another one of the same size so when one runs out, you can replace it with a charged one. You can be away from the charger longer then

My digital cam batteries are having the same problem. Stupid battery memory. Getting a second set isn't a bad idea. Despite that, I still prefer my digital camera. I'm terrible about getting the film to the store to get developed; i think we have about 20 rolls of film that we have to get developed someday.

I do dark-room photography at my college. I really enjoy it and I've been told I have a natural eye for pictures. :P

I'll post some sometime when I get together some money and buy some new film.

Well, the problem isn't that the battery runs out. I basically have no use of the battery, as my plug doesn't charge. It just powers it up. It's not even the 'charger' for my camera, lol. It's the usb charger for my psp. :(

    So sad.

i have a casio EX-S10 which is like the size of a credit card that i keep with me at all times. don't leave home without it LOL

i've taken a gazillion pictures from every vacation and place we've been to for the last five years and now i want to get a better camera!

i also love going home and uploading, cropping and altering the pics which is as much fun as taking them.

I'd take my camera with me, but it's not very small and i have a tendency to leave obvious things behind and losing them. I DON"T wnat to lose my camera!

that is a lame excuse though. I really need to get out there and take some pics. it's beautiful here in North Carolina. I gotta show some of it off!
