I want it so bad :( Pity I can barely afford it and I need to save the money. I might see about getting it when my pay cheque comes in though ;)

Well if you do consider buying it, you can also check out xenforo which is cheaper and just as good if not better ;)

Yeah, I've considered buying a xenForo license a few times, I was slightly put off by the admin panel though and my memories from vB haha

You will get used to it, its actually much better than the others, when I first saw it I was confused as well. And its completely different from vB. vBulletin is pure crap nowadays

That it is, that it is. I might try the demo again and see what I think of it. Either way, I can't really afford it for the time being. Wish I could though ;)

A lot of people I talk to describe XenForo as...something else (with the ellipsis included lol). It's definitely a great piece of software but personally I would go with IP.Board :)

Interesting promotion, but I would not buy either of them even if I had license as I dont have a need for any of those.

It all has to do with our personal preferences, and both are great software created by talented people.

That's true. XenForo has seen a huge rise in popularity lately from what I've experienced. It's mostly IPB, XF, and MyBB out there now from my rounds.

Well I would definitely get IP.Blog, IP.Content, and IP.Gallery. They're great pieces of software that integrate well with the forum :)

I would have to agree with that. As vBulletin is going nowhere but downhill with stability problems. SMF is been struggling with many problems, and phpbb hasn't released an update in awhile. While IPB, MyBB, and Xenforo have been staying on track.

Lets get back on topic now. (IPB 3.2.0)

Alright. Playing around on the official IPB forum, I'm really thrilled with the AJAX PMs, notifications, and especially the quicker status updater. Also, when viewing the threads list, it's much easier to preview the thread by clicking the down arrow to show the posts in that thread.

I just wouldnt waste my money on those when there are just as good alternative scripts.

It's hard to beat the integration however. I haven't found any scripts that compare for IPB, but maybe I haven't looked enough.

Yea I am very much liking it, but its hard to deny they have taken things from xenforo.

Yea thats why most people buy it. I dont understand why IPB doesn't do what vb does and offer all those together in one script and offer a lower price than you would have to spend buying them individually.

Cause not everyone wants, for example, IP.Blog.

I had a IPB 3 license and I sold it for a loss. Then I switched to XenForo, and not have looked back. I have had more complements on my 1 week old XenForo form then I did the whole 6 months I own IPB. Switching was the best decision I have ever made.

Lets be on topic here, I do support your move :weluvxf: but this thread is not about xenforo. Back to IPB 3.2.0 discussion.
