New and need help

Greetings, im new on here so thought id say Hi, iv made an alien as a project and i need a name for it, its near completion, it resembles a machanical version of the creature from the film alien,its two tone silver/blue, i need help to find a realy powerfull name for it,can anybody help please,

A name for your robot...hmmmm. I have no idea. I only know one person here who could help you and that's monster. He is really good with technology and futuristics, and I'm sure he could pick out a cool name for you.

Well, Sten, is it a robot? Or just a mechanical model?

The idea to have a mechanical Alien-type creature is very cool!

Do you have a photo of it?

It would make naming it easier. How tall is it?

If it's a robot, what microcontrollers did you use?

About the naming issue: Well, as you know, the alien creatures from the Alien series of movies don't have any names. Even those in Alien vs. Predator are 'just monsters.' -- so, naming wouldn't need to follow any pattern.

Would you prefer a human or non-human language pattern?

Which kind of language do you envision for your creature? Since they're often hissing in the movies, you could name it to something consisting of hiss sounds.

or something. Do you know or envision anything about how their thorax is constructed, if they have one? What kind of sounds can they make?

wow thats realy cool monster, its 10ft tall, its actualy worn by me, its made of carbon fibre and looks metalic, silver blue, its so realistic you can't tell that someone is inside it, its not a costume as such, i havnt got a pic yet but it will be finnished any day now, its powerfull to look at looks metal /chrome robot, but the head is alien so you know its not from this planet etc,

 

So, it's a costume? If you want to look convincing in a 10 ft alien costume, you should decide which language to use. If you speak English, you break the illiusion. But of course it depends on what you want to do with it.

 

I'm no good at that stuff sten. I'd end up naming it something stupid like "Fluffy Bunny" or something. Goodluck, tho!
