Do you pay for SEO?

If so, how much? Who does it?

Would you recommend then? Are they a company, with a site? Or just an individual?

I do my own SEO. I've never paid for SEO in my life, what's the point of paying when you can learn how to do it with all the resources available online?

 

I never pay for SEO, I do it myself, and so far it has proven to be good. Its real easy.

 

Also, I've seen people pay/charge over the odds to get their site all set up with SEO, and then it's not got them anywhere. At least if you do it yourself, you've got nothing to lose

 

Yea, I have seen many people get scammed, and many of them actually got penalized from google. SO its best to do it yourself the legit way.

 

No i do not, i have never paid for it. I can do it very well for myself when i'm serious with my project and am willing to do some hard work. Just don't see the need to actually pay for it.

 

Yea I would never pay for SEO. Its a waste because anyone can do it themselves. Its not hard.

 

What companies do you see charging so much? Or people that you seem doing it? You should point them to this thread, as paying for SEO, isn't all that great. Seriously, I see it all the time happening on twitter, its ridiculous on how much people for it, when its better taught.

 

Yea tell me about it, it is ridiculous.. I have seen it on twitter as well. Many people have even came up to me offering their SEO services, and its annoying. People should teach themselves and do it themselves. Not hard at all.

 

Well I wasn't expect all of those replies.

I pay for it, as not all of us have the time to do what is needed and run a forum. I have a full time job and not enough hours in the day, never mind week.

 

I have paid for SEO as well for my adult forum but It didnt help me much. I have been doing it myself ever since then and it has proven to be more usefull. But it maybe different for everyone.

 

I always do it myself, its not hard. But if I had some funding then I would pay as I am quite lazy.

 

Im lazy too, and I have the money to pay for it but I just rather do it myself. Its just different letting others do it from me.
