too limited avatars

okay, I was trying to upload a new avatar, and it was 80x80px. well, it was no problem to cut 5 pixels of it, BUT, then I saw taht the maximum filesize was 5 kb. IMO it's way to small. I had to cut it down to 40 px and it looks way too small.

I know that there is a point with it being that small, and it might be wrong, but this is what I think.

 

that's pretty ironic, compared to the large document sizes that could be cut down significantly (because it's probably more of a bandwidth than storage issue)

 

5k x 15-20 avatars on a page sometimes = alot. E-mail me the avatar, I'm curious what it looks like...

 

okay no problem Jason.

I still don't know what I did wrong, but it's fixed now.

though, I had to cut it down to 69x69 px, but that's not a big deal.

 

i complain about that plenty myself.

uhm try compressing it?
