Does your community have a customized skin?

My community doesn't have a customized skin, but I plan to get one made for it in the next few months or so.

So, does your forum have a customized skin? Did you make it yourself or pay someone?

 

My forum has a premium one but its not just limited to me... anyone can buy it, dont know if it would still be considered custom since its not just for AdminBB.

 

Yes mine does. I am a moderator and have knowledge in phpBB. The owner asked me to modify a few things. I customized the style myself which looks neat!

 

I am getting one made from a good friend of mine. It should be done by the 1st.

 

I can easily make a custom theme, which I have in the past.. but I am just to busy.

Oh, how much did it cost?

 

We don't have a custom one. But the one we do have currently, does have some custom fixes to it. However, I would love to have a custom look entirely for the place. One that matches the website a bit if possible.

 

The original price is $30 I got it for $25 as it was on sale.

Im sure you can hire someone to do it for you, but it will cost you.

Problem with that is, I can't afford it. I'd have to hand over the Paypal account I have just so they could be paid.

 

My forum uses a customized, exclusive (at least, it's exclusive unless I decide to release it on XF once the one bug is worked out) theme that I created with help from a few other members (Shelley of bbsmiley.com in particular ). It's not very different in graphical terms, but it's got some tweaks that make the theme unique and fit well with the rest of the site.

 

I got a fully custom made one, a theme that I just had for myself, but I didn't hire someone, just made it myself too.

 

I would like to be able to make skins but I don't quite understand the process after I create everything in Photoshop.

I don't know how to save it or where to code it and how.

If you know a useful guide that can help me please let me know.

 

Custom skins/designs are always best so you can stand out from the rest, Chatting Time runs a semi-custom skin as it's based from a free style, but I changed a lot around to make it more customised
