Longest time you have stayed away from your site?

The longest time I have stayed away from AdminBB was 3 months. It was some personal problems I had and I couldn't no longer come on because I had to deal with the problems in life.

So whats the longest amount of time you have stayed away from your site?

 

Well, I lost my community last summer - I got locked up. I was gone from May 18th till September 2nd, then brought my community back Jan 21.. I haven't left it yet.

Longest I've been away from my forum is 2 days. Yeah, sad I know.

 

2 days isn't much considering if your forum is not that big and active that it would affect your community.

The 3 months that I was away, was enough to kill AdminBB. Its been open for 5 months, and I was gone for 3 months... so if I was around those 3 months AdminBB would have never died, and would be even much bigger than what it is right now. Its slowly getting back up top.

 

The longest time I stayed away was 2-3 weeks when I had lost complete hope in my forum, but then I came back as running my forum is a big passion of mine.

 

5 days, which has been the cruise I have just come back on, no net and no phone signal

 

Its been 5 days already? Wow.

 

Yup, left home last Friday, arrived back earlier this afternoon, although I managed to pop in on Friday as I was not at sea.

 

Yea it doesn't seem that long.

 

No it doesn't, the time went past so fast, I had over 1000+ emails to read, so I can only begin to imagine would it would have been like if I went on a 7 or 14 day cruise rather than a 4 day cruise...

I'm all done now, the 1000+ emails were all server emails so did'nt need replying to, just reading (thankfully)

 

The longest away from my community would be 3 and 1/4 years. Then again, not sure if losing a domain counts as being away from it.

 

I think the longest I've been away, so far, has been over the weekend.

As of this summer the longest I'll have been away from my site is a week. Planning on going to Bible Camp again this year, so yeah.

 

In the first few months on my last forum I had to go interstate for two weeks.
The the ext year I had to travel internationally to see family, very suddenly.

Growth slowed down, activity didn't. Phew. (Both times)

 

What was your vacation like? Do you come back with fresh and exciting ideas?

 

Lol I wasn't in a vaction, and yes I came back and gave my frum a big revamp which did help.
