What goals do you want to achieve for your forum before 2012?

What goals do you want to achieve for your forum before 2012?

Here is some I'd like to achieve:

- 3000 members
- 20,000 + posts

 

As long as my forum is going and members are posting i not bothered about post count ect

 

Same here, but Id just like to grow alot by the end of the year.. or world

 

Yeh that would be nice to but as long as my members are happy as well

 

I'd like:

• an active member base on the forum
• for my members to get along
• for the forum to still be going (no matter what size it's currently at)
• for me to still love running it (I don't see that changing )

 

I'd like the same as well. Adminbb has been doing good since I came back.

 

5,000 posts would be very nice. Maybe even 6,000.

And 120 members.

i sure hope too! i plan on staying active here, because its just a nice place where all kinds of forum owners gather together

 

Hopefully to get to 10k posts and 200 members by 2012. New Year's Day of that year at the latest.

 

Well for myself I would just like to get a few members. I wish I knew how to do templates, styles, coding etc. but I don't. I really sometimes envy others cause of the amount of people they have on there sites and how active they are.

I have a few sites that are over a year old and don't have much activity at all on the. Of course I really have no clue as to how to get members. I am not the kind of person that wants to spam links, since I don't like those that do. Sometimes I even feel as if I shouldn't put in my website in the area that it is allowed.

Well anyways. What would be my goal?

I would be Very Grateful and Thankful just to have 20 members and maybe have 2 post each day from them. Oh well let me go back to sleep and dream

 

If you don't mind the referral link here, I'd suggest checking out Postloop to help your member base grow. It's been the main factor for me in getting my forum to grow, and the system there works great to get good posters on your forum and getting rid of those who aren't.

 

The best thing for you to do is advertise on forums that have a section for it, and try to do post exchanges, buy adspace etc. As trombones said you can try PostLoop also.

 

I would like anything that points to it being a active forum. It's has dead as can be right now.

As I mentioned above, Postloop was a great way for me to boost activity on my forum.

 

He uses ZetaBoards, so it isn't supported.
