Well, I wondered when this might happen, looks like a 'certain person' has no further need to try use that site to help promote XenForo anymore. Click the link and see what happens now: XenForo - Compelling community forum software I'll give you one guess who was running that Blog all along, I guessed it ages ago myself! The same person who first mentioned it even existed on XenForo and took everybody for fools. Well, except me of course!
MRGBT us trying to say that Keir made the site. Most believe it was mjp, though a few thought it was the op.. Edit: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/we-suck.2161/
Or it was somebody else and XenForo acquired the domain from them either by purchasing it or threatening legal action (for which I have no idea if a basis exists).
It was interesting to spot, that as soon as XenForo went for sale no more articles where written on XenForoSucks since (I wonder why)? And now it gets redirected a week later, Hmm. Wouldn't you have thought when XenForo first went for sale, XenForoSucks would have jumped on that as an excuse to add a new article? Yet, none was added!
This is the first time I've seen the URL, was it setup as a blog or something before with these "articles"? xenforosucks.com Whois - xen for o sucks - Who.is I have no idea who the owner is and wouldn't be surprised if it becomes property of XF itself for copyright infringement. I do like the NS tho, pretty..lol Domain servers in listed order: LOVE.THISISNOTATEST.COM HATE.THISISNOTATEST.COM
Please, let's not get into this. We all know how certain people like to spin things way out of proportion for the sake of being dramatic and gaining infamy. Let's not start that again. We will never know who was behind it (unless someone admits to it), but we are all entitled to our opinions.
Actually we do know who was behind it. Michael J. Phillips, who lives in California. His username on xenforo is mjp. MrGTB, you are so funny.
I'm well aware of MJP, no need to remind me. :p And that proves what exactly? Ah! Your so naive, I'll let you do your own homework better.
Hi. My ears were burning... Mr. Darby had nothing to do with the site. If you must know, I made a post on the xF forum very early on in a topic regarding copyright/trademark issues, and I used xenforosucks.com (which was not registered at the time) as an example of something that is not a copyright violation. The thread was deleted, so I thought, "Well if that's how it's going to be, [****][****][****][****] you, I'll register it." The blog was not anti-xF, it was anti-idiot, and there were (and are) a lot of them on the xF forum. But how many jokes can you make at such people's expense? There was nothing new to say, so I just pointed the domain to the xF site. The blog is still there, if I took the redirect off the domain it would be back up. But again, beating a dead horse is boring. I bought, and intend to use, xF. It doesn't suck. So the domain is really not accurate. Even if I wanted to open the blog up again and take some shots at the Kierbait, I'd probably use: $ whois kierbait.com No match for "KIERBAIT.COM".
