XenForo

Is Xenforo free? I never heard of it. It looks quite new. Is it good? Can someone tell me some good things and bad things about Xenforo?

 

The license is $140 and its more better than vBulletin. Its created by Kier Darby, Mike, and Ashley. All 3 of them used to work for vBulletin. Its great and alot of dissapointed vb customers are moving to it.

 

xenforo is a good forum, no bugs found and overall 10/10

im sticking with mybb until i get the money up. i really whish it was cheaper.

XenForo isn't expensive in the world of PAID forum software.
VB Forum is $195, not the suite, just the forum. The suite is $285.
IP Board (nothing added on), just the forum is $149, and most people buy the suite so it adds up quickly.

Also, remember, these men who developed this board have not worked for an entire year. Developing it as Open Source was just not going to happen.

 

I would prefer xenforo over vbulletin, as its better to buy XF with a lot of new features, than buying a vbulletin which looks nothing more than free ones like MyBB.

 

I second this, yes MyBB is just as good as vB or better because its stable, vB really isnt going anywhere, they should just become a free one

 

XenForo is great from what I've seen of it. Very user-friendly.

 

XenForo is not free but i don't know how much it is because i don't use paid hosts but i am sure other people have answer this question. It looks quite good.
