WWDC 2009 Discussion

If you're following it like me, let's use this thread to discuss Apple's 2009 WWDC.

I am ecstatic about the new MacBook changes. Snow Leopard looks absolutely awesome, too.


-The only MacBook left is the out-dated white version. They will probably use the MacBook name for some kind of 10-inch tablet. The aluminum laptops are all now called "MacBook Pro". They have much better specs and lower prices. They come in 13, 15, and 17-inch, all of which can have 8GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD!

-In addition to all of the amazing new things with Snow Leopard, it will only be $29 for Leopard users.

-The new iPhone is called the iPhone 3GS. Visually, it's basically the same. But I believe it has many great updates and it is much faster (the 'S' stands for SPEED?).

I can't wait to get a 15 or 17-inch MacBook Pro with a 500GB HDD and 8GB of RAM! AH.

 

Snow leopard? Is it worth shelling out for if I already have leopard? More importantly, is it even out yet? :lol:

 

No, it's not. And to not pay the $30 they're giving us to it for when it is would just be silly.

 

Not a big apple fan, but damn do they know marketing :lol:

The iPhone is nice, but it still lacks some of the basic functionality that 50.00 phones have, and there is no way I'm going to get raped by AT&T.
