Look like theme forest material? It was planned to be design for a place you all know but I won't say. =X (I tried to take out all of the original names of this PSD) My first hosting design, only one I've made too.
It looks amazing, Far greater then some of the ones actually on ThemeForest. Lol at some of the text used.
My personal opinion? Hosting themes on ThemeForest are a bit cliche. You would have more success selling it one time with rights and fonts on a place like webhostingtalk.com and I know they will snatch this up very fast. Considering most of the stuff posted there looks like it was done with a blind giraffe using its ass to do the work. Easy 200-450.
Coded or just PSD? It includes the Plans(Shared PSD) and the WHMC PSD. I made this design uhh.. close to 4 months ago maybe even 3, who knows. It just stood there in one of my folders, never used. So I decided to sell it since it was already complete, it just needed coding. Took me a days to finish, I think close to a week.
Just the PSD. I would make a copies of the PSD, and then make it for each plans page. It makes things simpler for buyers. The WHMCS PSD is also a bonus, can we see it? I assume you made custom icons for that too? It's a fantastic looking design. The problem with putting hosting designs on Themeforest is that today's hosts want to be original. And this definitely takes the cake on originality.
I was going to say the same. I personally would put this up for a minimum of 400. And, wouldn't accept anything less. Infact, I've seen designs worse that fetch more. If you have designed other icons then this only adds to the value and I expect some more custom work can come from this when they need additional graphic work done when they code for it and add in 3 party scripts and the graphics they may need they'll want consistent visuals for them to.
True. The other day I saw this really nasty design up for sale, which was absolutely hideous. It went for 300 or 350, and looked like it was done in an hour. It sold, and I was stunned. Especially when I even subtly commented on the quality of the design. It was puke green too.
No, the WHMC doesn't have original icons - yet. If it was good enough for Theme Forest I was planning on making icons for it, funny that you mentioned it though! It was the first thing I thought, I have the PSD open since I was arranging everything, putting names to the layers, etc. WHMC: Plans(Shared): I'm already starting to make icons and so. Not long ago I TRIED to make a house icon and a life preserver, dunno what I'll make for an about page and so:
Sad, I just checked Webhosting talk and I need to make some posts so I can sell my PSD there, yet I am a dumbass when it comes to hosting and I have no hosting site xD
Oh, forgot to comment on the others. The plans and WHMCS look great. The icons too, but I would put a full 360 degree white highlight on the life preserver. I would just create a new layer and use the shape tool and then stroke it with the paint brush and lower the opacity until it looks good.
FMB, I hope by now you've made a decision to sell this. I don't like it when people doubt the quality of their work.
I'm still uhh, thinking, I really don't exactly know how to go on about this. (Guilty, I still doubt about it but I guess I'll try to get over it)
Dunno, still not very confident and so, but I already started making the icons (I am trying my best to make them look good). So I guess it won't be long till I finish and try and sell this template on Webhostingtalk if they let me.
