Here is a plugin that will allow you to bridge a wordpress install to your xenForo install. http://xenforo.com/community/threads/wordpress-3-bridge.5398/ Has anyone used this? Did you have any issues with the install? I'm thinking about using it on one of my forums.
There we're a few of them. No one ever seemed to solve the authentication issues when sharing vBulletin's member credentials.
Yeah but none of them work, I've been looking for a bridge forever for any forum software with wordpress. IPB doesn't have one either. I'm curious to see if the xenforo one is worth a crap.
I'm going to set this up tonight and play around with it, might ask you guys to test a few comments if you don't mind? http://blog.admin-talk.com/1/ Everyone should be able to login
Has anyone had any luck setting up wordpress and xenforo, I know @fattony69 did something like this but not sure it was the same mod linked from the OP.
I have expressed my frustrations. I am trying to get my developer to look at it to solve "my issues" but I got it to work. It works, but there are flaws.
How did this go? I'm currently debating whether or not to get a xf license for a possible '13 project. A working WP bridge would tip the scales a bit,
I thought it turned out pretty good. http://www.thebestforumever.com/community/threads/welcome-to-the-new-the-best-forum-ever.74092/ The blog and forum sync up pretty well from a users view at least.
The coder is a shitty coder. There is a major issue and the only way to fix it is reverting an old wordpress file back in one part. If I could do it again, I wouldn't. It works, but I think I'm going to hire my old buddy to fix it.
